"This was our first stay at Casa Manana , and in Lanzarote, but it certainly will not be our last on both counts. You would be challenged to find a villa more pleasant than Casa Manana, it is spacious bright and airy, yet homely, and extremely well equipped. A mid-fortnight bed and towel change was a real delight too. We spent many VERY pleasant evenings on the fantastic patio watching the kids in the lovely, well lit pool and garden. A very comfortable 2 week stay in a wonderful villa was had by all.
Playa Blanca is a beautiful resort/area. The atmosphere is bubbly and pleasant with no garish, loud establishments to spoil your lazy amble along the promenade by the beaches where you can choose anyone of the fabulous restaurants to eat.
Lanzarote is a fascinating place with wonderful landscapes and views and thanks to the foresight of Cesar Manrique there are no buildings taller than the palm trees and not a SINGLE advertisement hording to obscure the views. A trip to the Timanfaya National Park and the Cave de los Verdes is a must and the market at Teguise is a real treat (even if you're not partial to shopping). Femes is a lovely little village tucked away, high up on the edge of one of the many volcanoes, full of unspoilt charm, it is well worth a visit.

We spent two weeks at the villa and were very happy with the accommodation and convenient location. The villa itself was well equipped and comfortable and the patio area was fantastic for eating al fresco, keeping an eye on the kids in the pool and generally relaxing when we'd had enough sun. The pool had just been resurfaced so was in immaculate condition and we thoroughly enjoyed making full use of it. There were also plenty of good beaches and restaurants within easy walking distance and there was no shortage of things to do in Playa Blanca. From the Longworth Family
